- Attended Palestine High School in his hometown of Palestine, Texas … two-way player at the prep level, playing not only cornerback but also wide receiver and running back … joined the cornerback room upon his arrival at Texas Tech.
- Earned first team All-District accolades each of his three seasons on varsity … did not allow a single touchdown reception over that span to rank among the top cover corners in the state … recorded 40 tackles and 15 pass breakups his senior year, while adding 10 catches for 170 yards and four touchdowns on offense … added two punt return touchdowns on special teams to his impressive senior ledger.
- Invited to the 2026 Navy All-American Bowl in San Antonio, one of the most-prestigious all-star games in the country.
- Multi-sport athlete, starring in track and field for Palestine as well … finished fifth at the Class 4A state meet as a junior in the 4x100-meter relay … part of a 4x100-relay team that set the Palestine school record … qualified for the regional meet in the 100-meter dash that same year, recording a personal-best time of 11.05 seconds.
- Consensus four-star prospect by the likes of Rivals, ESPN and 247Sports … ranked as high as No. 19 among cornerbacks nationally by Rivals and No. 20 by both ESPN and 247Sports … one of the top recruits in the state of Texas for the 2026 class, ranking as high as No. 20 overall by Rivals and ESPN and then No. 23 by 247Sports … committed to Texas Tech on June 19, 2025, and joined the program as a mid-year enrollee in January 2026 … CHOSE TEXAS TECH OVER: Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Arizona, Baylor, Houston, SMU and others.
