PRIOR TO TEXAS TECH
- A Division II All-American safety pickup from the transfer portal out of Pittsburg State (Pittsburg, Kansas) in the summer of 2026 ... was granted a waiver, earning a sixth season of college football for the 2026 campaign, electing to use it to return to his home state and play for the Red Raiders.
- A three-time All-MIAA (Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association) honoree, earning third-team honors in 2023 before earning back-to-back first-team selections in 2024 and 2025.
- 2025 SEASON (AT PITTSBURG STATE): finished with 85 tackles, 1.5 sacks, five interceptions, five pass breakups and four forced fumbles ... helped lead the Gorillas to a 10-3 record and a MIAA co-championship ... started all 13 games.
- AWARDS AND HONORS: named to the First-Team Defense AFCA Division II Coaches All-America Team ... named to the First-Team Defense Associated Press Division II All-America Team ... named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA) First Team All-America Football Team and to the Don Hansen Football Committee NCAA Division II First Team Defense All-American Team.
- 2024 SEASON (AT PITTSBURG STATE): started all 11 games … made 42 tackles (24 solo) with 3.0 tackles-for-loss, 2.0 quarterback sacks, four interceptions and four pass breakups … a first-team All-MIAA selection … posted a career-best eight tackles, an interception and a forced fumble vs. Harding in the NCAA-II playoffs (Nov. 23).
- 2023 SEASON (AT PITTSBURG STATE): Saw action in 12 games … posted 35 tackles (26 solo), 6.0 tackles-for-loss and 2.0 quarterback sacks … also recorded an MIAA-leading six interceptions and five pass breakups … returned an interception 38 yards for a touchdown at Northeastern State (Sept. 30).
- 2022 SEASON (AT PITTSBURG STATE): Appeared in two games before an injury ended his season - would later be granted a medical redshirt for a sixth season.
- 2021 SEASON (AT PITTSBURG STATE): Redshirted.
HIGH SCHOOL
- A first-team Texas, Class 4A, all-state performer as a senior at Waco La Vega High School in 2020 ... helped La Vega compile a 23-5 combined record over his final two prep years.
- Was the 2020 District 5-4A Offensive MVP, after transitioning to quarterback during his senior season, and was also tabbed as a second-team punt returner ... as a junior, named a District 5-4A First Team defense selection at outside linebacker.
- Named to the first team on the Texas Sports Writers Association’s (TSWA) Class 4A All-State Football Team as an all-purpose player as a senior and was a first-team selection at outside linebacker as a junior.
- Was a member of La Vega’s state championship team during his sophomore season and state finalist team his junior year.

- Son of Frederick Rogers Sr. and Lakesha Gray-Rogers .. has 11 siblings – five brothers and six sisters.
- Has horses he rides back home in Bellmead, has one named Cadillac because she rides smooth.
- Earned a bachelor’s degree in general studies from Pittsburg State in spring 2026 ... enrolled in non-degree-seeking post-baccalaureate studies at Texas Tech.
