HIGH SCHOOL
- Remained in-state to join the Red Raiders following three years at UTSA … will have two seasons of eligibility remaining as a Red Raider, giving Texas Tech another experienced corner with size … appeared in 29 games over his UTSA career with 10 starts.
- Combined to make 40 tackles (33 solo) as a Roadrunner to go along with an interception, three pass breakups and a fumble recovery … of his tackle total, recorded 2.0 tackles for loss and a solo sack from his spot in the secondary … vast majority of his tackle total came during his 2025 sophomore campaign.
- Credited with 665 defensive snaps over his three seasons by Pro Football Focus … added an additional 350 snaps via special teams with experience on all four primary units, namely kickoff coverage … targeted 49 times throughout his career, per PFF, with 27 of those resulting in receptions … given up only one touchdown reception to this point in his career.
- 2025 SEASON (SOPHOMORE AT UTSA): Took on a much larger role as a sophomore, appearing in 11 games with eight starts at cornerback … recorded 26 tackles overall (22 solo) to go along with an interception and two pass breakups from his spot in the secondary.
- Posted multiple tackles in six different games, including a career-high six stops in the non-conference win over Incarnate Word (9/13) … picked off his first career pass against the Cardinals late in the first quarter … notched three tackles versus Texas State (9/6) and then at Temple (10/4) and Charlotte (11/15) as well as four at Colorado State (9/20) and five at North Texas (10/18) … one of his three stops at Charlotte went for a loss, his lone tackle behind the line of scrimmage on the year.
- Credited with 437 defensive snaps by Pro Football Focus as well as an additional 97 snaps on special teams … regular member of the kickoff coverage unit for a second-straight season and saw time on every other special teams unit minus field goal protect … publication had him with 33 targets on the season with 17 resulting in a completion but none for touchdowns.
- 2024 SEASON (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN AT UTSA): began to earn playing time at cornerback as a redshirt freshman, appearing in all 13 games with two starts against Florida Atlantic (10/19) and Memphis (11/2) … recorded 12 tackles (10 solo) on the season to go along with a pass breakup and a fumble recovery … tackle total includes the lone sack (solo) of his UTSA tenure.
- Majority of tackles came over a four-game span with two stops versus Rice (10/12), Florida Atlantic and Memphis as well as four at Tulsa (10/26) … performance at Tulsa included his lone pass breakup of the season … previously notched his first career sack in the win over Florida Atlantic and later capped the win over Temple (11/22) with a fumble recovery on the second-to-last play of the game.
- 2023 SEASON (FRESHMAN AT UTSA): redshirt season … appeared in five games, including UTSA’s first-ever bowl win in the Frisco Bowl … recorded the first two tackles of his career in the bowl win over Marshall (12/19) … made his collegiate debut versus East Carolina (10/28) and proceeded to see playing time – primarily on special teams – against Rice (11/11), South Florida (11/17) and at Tulane (11/24).
HIGH SCHOOL
- Attended Klein Cain High School in the Houston area … helped push the Hurricanes to the area round of the Class 6A Division I playoffs his junior and senior seasons … capped his time at the prep level by helping lead Klein Cain to a 10-2 record as a senior and district title.
- Recorded 44 tackles, eight pass breakups, an interception and a forced fumble as a senior en route to earning first team All-District 15-6A accolades … previously a second team All-District 15-6A honoree as a junior after registering 35 tackles, six pass breakups and three interceptions … Klein Cain finished 9-3 that season and as the district runner-up.
- Multi-sport athlete as a member of the Klein Cain track and field program … produced a personal-best time of 11.27 in the 100 meters as a junior and 22.15 in the 200 meters … also the anchor leg of the 4x100-meter relay and second leg of the 4x200-meter relay that both placed in the top three at in the district and advanced to the regional meet.
- Highly regarded for his work in the classroom as a member of the National Honor Society … three-time Academic All-District honoree during prep career as well.
- Consensus three-star prospect by the likes of Rivals, On3, ESPN and 247Sports … ultimately chose to attend UTSA over offers from Louisiana-Lafayette and Oregon State.
