- One of several significant signees for the Red Raiders out of the transfer portal, arriving at Texas Tech after earning All-MAC honors at Miami (Ohio) … spent a total of four years with the RedHawks, appearing in 41 games during that span with 16 starts … will utilize his final season of eligibility with the Red Raiders.
- Combined for 102 tackles (41 solo) over three full seasons, including 18.0 tackles for loss and 13.0 sacks … bulk of that total came during a stellar junior campaign, pushing Miami to an appearance in the 2025 MAC Championship … demonstrated ability to create takeaways with two interceptions, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery as a RedHawk.

- 2025 SEASON (JUNIOR AT MIAMI): one of the nation’s top pass rushers during his finale season as RedHawk … earned first team All-MAC honors after starting in all 13 games played, totaling career highs with 59 tackles (26 solo), including 12.5 for a loss and 8.5 sacks … added three forced fumbles, an interception, four pass breakups and 13 quarterback hurries to his stat ledger.
- Ended the season ranked tied for 23rd nationally in sacks per game (0.65) and tied for 25th for total sacks (8.5) … was fourth overall in the MAC for both categories and then eighth in the league for total tackles for loss (12.5) … helped push a Miami defense that ended the season tied for eighth in the FBS with 40.0 sacks as a team.
- Made a splash in the season opener at Wisconsin (8/28), finishing with 2.0 sacks as part of six tackles, a quarterback hurry and a pass breakup … marked the first multi-sack game of his career and was the first of seven games on the year with at least a share of a sack … started a stretch of three-consecutive games to start the season with six tackles in each contest after hitting that total at Rutgers (9/6) and versus UNLV (9/20).
- Kicked off a stretch of three-consecutive games with a sack versus Lindenwood (9/27), finishing with three tackles and a solo tackle … followed with three tackles, including 2.0 for a loss and another sack, the next week at Northern Illinois (10/4) and then a career-high seven stops at Akron (10/11).
- Win over Akron featured a career-high 2.5 tackles for loss to go along with 1.5 sacks and his second career interception … both sacks versus the Zips came in the third quarter and led directly to punt attempts … his interception, meanwhile, came in the red zone and stopped Akron’s opening drive … previously forced a fumble on his sack versus Northern Illinois, the first of the three on the season.
- Notched sacks in three other MAC games later in the season versus Western Michigan (10/25), at Buffalo (11/19) and against Ball State (11/29), the latter of which was part of six tackles … had 2.0 tackles for loss in the win over Western Michigan, including a strip sack that gave the ball back to the RedHawks to set up a field goal … closed his tenure at Miami with four tackles, a forced fumble and a quarterback hurry in the MAC Championship versus Western Michigan (12/6) … did not play in Miami’s loss to Fresno State in the Arizona Bowl.
- Among the highest-rated edge rushers in college football by Pro Football Focus as his 91.3 overall grade ranked ninth among those with at least 400 defensive snaps … received a 91.1 grade as a pass rusher, which ranked tied for 13th nationally … publication listed him with 67 pressures created over his 671 defensive snaps, which was tied for fourth in the FBS behind only Miami’s Rueben Bain Jr. (83), Texas Tech’s David Bailey (81) and New Mexico’s Keyshawn James-Newby (74) … awarded 73 pressures by ESPN, which led the FBS in their ranking.
- 2024 SEASON (SOPHOMORE AT MIAMI): emerged as a regular contributor defensively as a sophomore, appearing in all 14 games while making three starts … totaled 37 tackles overall, including 5.5 for a loss and 4.5 sacks, to go along with an interception and fumble recovery … recognized with the Strength and Conditioning Award following the season by the coaching staff.
- Combined for eight tackles the first three games of the season – all against power conference opponents – with three stops at Northwestern (8/31) and Notre Dame (9/21) and two versus Cincinnati (9/14) … shared a sack the next week versus UMass (9/28) as part of a season-high six tackles … notched his first career solo sack the next weekend as part of four tackles at Toledo (10/5), one of five games with at least a share of a sack during MAC play.
- Got to the quarterback on his own against Central Michigan (10/26), at Ball State (11/5) and at Bowling Green (11/29) … recovered his first career fumble during that span to start the fourth quarter versus Kent State (11/13) … closed the season with five tackles in the Arizona Bowl victory over Colorado State (12/28) … performance included his first career interception, which came late in the first quarter and led to a Miami field goal for a 6-3 lead.
- Credited with 497 defensive snaps by Pro Football Focus as well as an additional 105 on special teams … bulk of snaps on special teams came as part of punt coverage (63) … publication listed him with 26 pressures on the season.
- 2023 SEASON (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN AT MIAMI): saw action in 13 games as a redshirt freshman, seeing time as a reserve on the defensive line and on special teams … made six tackles on the year, including a season-high two stops versus Delaware State (9/23) … credited with 231 snaps on special teams as a regular member of the kickoff return, kickoff coverage, punt return and punt coverage units.
- 2022 SEASON (FRESHMAN AT MIAMI): redshirt season … appeared in only one game, which came during MAC play against Bowling Green (10/15).
HIGH SCHOOL
- Attended Huber Heights Wayne High School just outside his hometown of Dayton, Ohio … helped push the Warriors to an 8-3 record as a senior and a share of the Greater Western Ohio Conference (GWOC) … played for one of the top big-school high school programs in the state.
- Earned first team All-GWOC honors as a senior after recording 65 tackles, 16.5 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks … was a second team All-Ohio selection as a linebacker that same season by the Ohio Prep Sportswriters Association … three-time All-GWOC honoree, collecting first team accolades for the first time as a junior during the COVID-shortened 2020 season and then as an honorable mention selection as a sophomore in 2019.
- Consensus three-star prospect by the likes of Rivals, On3, ESPN and 247Sports … listed as a top-70 recruit in the state of Ohio by all four services, ranking as high as No. 52 by Rivals … chose Miami (Ohio) over similar offers from Air Force, Akron, Eastern Michigan, Kent State, Dartmouth, Penn and Princeton, among others.
