- Attended Terrell High School just outside the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex … played on both sides of the ball at the prep level as both a cornerback and a wide receiver … placed in the cornerback room upon his arrival at Texas Tech.
- Helped push Terrell to the Class 5A Division II playoffs both his junior and senior seasons … the Tigers advanced to the regional semifinal round his senior year before falling to the eventual state champion, finishing with a 12-1 overall record.
- A unanimous first team All-District 6-5A selections as a senior after totaling 40 tackles, six pass breakups and two fumble recoveries produced 313 yards of total offense on the other side of the ball as a senior, including 216 receiving yards … also a force on special teams, blocking two field goals while also scoring on both a kick and punt return.
- Previously a second team All-District 6-5A honoree as a wide receiver his junior year after notching 235 receiving yards and four touchdowns through the air … recorded 42 tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and two blocked kicks that season defensively.
- Multi-sport athlete, competing in the 110-meter hurdles, the 300-meter hurdles, the long jump and triple jump …
- Consensus three-star prospect by the likes of Rivals, 247Sports and ESPN … ranked as high as No. 83 among cornerbacks nationally out of high school by ESPN … committed to Texas Tech on March 22, 2025 … joined the program as a mid-year enrollee in January 2026.
