- Attended Papillon-La Vista High School located just outside of Omaha, Neb. โฆ one of the first Red Raider signees out of the state of Nebraska in recent years โฆ helped push the Monarchs to the Class A state quarterfinals as a senior before eventually falling to state runner-up Omaha Westside.
- Two-way player for the Monarchs as both an offensive tackle and a defensive end โฆ will play on the offensive line for the Red Raiders โฆ recorded 45 pancake blocks his senior year alone to go along with 43 tackles, 4.0 sacks and an interception defensively โฆ previously recorded 20 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and 4.5 sacks as a junior for a program that finished 8-2 overall.
- Member of the schoolโs basketball and track and field programs โฆ qualified for the state meet as a junior in the shot put, finishing 10th overall.
- Consensus three-star prospect by the likes of On3, 247Sports, ESPN and Rivals โฆ listed as one of the top 11 prospects in the state of Nebraska by all four publications, ranking as high as No. 4 by On3 โฆ highly-regarded by On3 as the No. 28 interior offensive lineman in the country โฆ also ranked fifth in the state by 247Sports and No. 8 by Rivals and No. 11 by ESPN โฆ CHOSE TEXAS TECH OVER: Oregon State, Northern Illinois, Eastern Michigan, Yale, Princeton with interest from Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas State, Minnesota and Kansas, among others.
