- Appeared in 12 games with 11 starts during his lone season as a Red Raider … missed only the North Texas (9/14) to close non-conference play.
- Flipped from left tackle to start the season to being Texas Tech’s primary left guard over the final nine contests … started each of the first two games of the season at left tackle … returned to the starting rotation at left guard against Cincinnati (9/28), solidifying that spot for the remainder of the season.
- Part of a Texas Tech offensive line that helped the Red Raiders close the season ranked fourth in scoring (37.6 points per game) and ninth for both total offense per game (462.7 yards) and passing yards per game (296.7 yards).
- Credited with 804 offensive snaps on the season by Pro Football Focus, which ranked sixth overall on the team and fourth among offensive linemen … publication awarded him with a 97.1 pressures efficiency rating after allowing five sacks, four quarterback hits and 13 hurries over 458 pass-blocking opportunities.
- Selected to the Shrine Bowl 1,000 watch list prior to the season.
- NCAA TRANSFER PORTAL: elected to enter the transfer portal following the season after receiving an extra year of eligibility.
PRIOR TO TEXAS TECH
- Arrived at Texas Tech following a successful two seasons at Middle Tennessee State … mid-year transfer that joined the Red Raiders prior to the start of spring football … will have one year of eligibility remaining with the Red Raiders after playing two seasons at Middle Tennessee State and two others at Iowa Western (NJCAA).
- CAREER NUMBERS AT MTSU: started in all 25 games the past two seasons for the Blue Raiders, totaling 1,448 offensive snaps during that span … all but two of those snaps came at left tackle.
- Drew interest from Arizona State, Baylor, South Carolina, Texas A&M and others while in the transfer portal prior to signing with the Red Raiders.
- 2023 SEASON (SENIOR/MTSU): started all 12 games in his final season for the Blue Raiders … credited with 629 offensive snaps by Pro Football Focus … responsible for three sacks over 385 pass-blocking opportunities, according to the publication … averaged 54 snaps played per game … was tabbed the team’s top offensive lineman following its win against Louisiana Tech.
- 2022 SEASON (JUNIOR/MTSU): started all 13 games at left tackle during his debut season at the FBS level … was one of just two linemen to start all 13 games that season for the Blue Raiders … credited with 819 offensive snaps played by PFF, which was second among offensive linemen … was the team’s offensive lineman of the week following win over Miami.
- 2021 SEASON (SOPHOMORE/IOWA WESTERN): helped lead the Reivers to a 10-1 record and an appearance in NJCAA national title game during final season at junior college level … played in nine of 11 games overall … started in both a 30-29 playoff win versus Snow College and then a 31-13 loss in the NJCAA national championship game to New Mexico Military Institute.
- 2020 SEASON (FRESHMAN/IOWA WESTERN): saw action in three games of his true freshman season that was played in the spring of 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic … the Reivers won all six games of its interrupted COVID season.
HIGH SCHOOL
- Attended Sumter High School in his hometown of Sumter, S.C.
- Earned 4-5A All-Region honors in 2019 by the Sumter Item … was also tabbed the Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman … developed into a starter prior to his senior year.
- Multi-sport athlete as a member of Sumter’s wrestling program.
