- Redshirt season … appeared in four games on the season either as a wide receiver or on special teams … caught one pass for four yards on the season, which came in the second half of Texas Tech’s rout over North Texas (9/14).
- Scout team member … recognized as the offensive scout team player of the week following Texas Tech’s win at Arizona (10/5).
HIGH SCHOOL
- Attended Bryan High School in Bryan-College Station, Texas … one of the most athletic wide receiver prospects in the 2024 class … three-year varsity letterwinner for the Vikings … moved from safety to playing primarily wide receiver after his sophomore season …
- Exploded onto the recruiting scene after catching 36 passes for 768 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior … was a first team All-District 12-6A honoree following successful debut as a wideout … followed with 29 catches for 446 yards and four touchdowns as a senior before an injury limited him to only five games.
- Previously caught six passes for 110 yards and a touchdown as a sophomore before moving full-time to the secondary … recorded five interceptions that season and a fumble recovery for a touchdown en route to earning second team All-District 12-6A accolades.
- One of the state’s top high jumpers in addition to his role as a football athlete … two-time state qualifier in the high jump, finishing fifth at the Class 6A level his sophomore year and then third as a junior in 2023 … cleared 6’-6” in both of those two meets … personal best is 6’-10” which ranked 10th in the state of Texas and among the top-40 marks nationally in 2023 … timed under 40.0 seconds in the 300 hurdles with a personal best of 39.35 seconds to qualify for the regional meet.
- Consensus three-star prospect by the likes of Rivals, ESPN, 247Sports and On3 … considered a top-100 recruit in Texas by both 247 and On3, ranking as high as No. 78 overall … came in at No. 98 on On3’s ranking of the top players in the Lone Star State … listed as the No. 36 wide receiver in the country by 247Sports … joined the Red Raiders for the spring in 2024 ... CHOSE TEXAS TECH OVER: Air Force, Army, Boston College, Columbia, Louisiana Tech, North Texas, Princeton, Texas State, UTSA, Utah, Yale, among others.
