- Again one of Texas Techโs top special teams performers during final season as a Red Raider โฆ played in every game on the Red Raidersโ schedule for a second-consecutive season โฆ ultimately came from his 2023 season-ending injury to play in all 27 games his final two seasons as a Red Raider with 13 appearances in 2024 and 14 as a sixth-year senior.ย
- Ranked second on the team with 203 snaps on special teams, which trailed only Oliver Miles III (208) โฆ regular member of the kickoff coverage, kickoff return and punt units โฆ also saw time sparingly on punt return and the field goal block unit โฆ majority of snaps - 104 to be exact - came via kickoff coverage, which was one shy of the team high that was set by Brock Golwas.
- Four of his five tackles on the season came via kickoff coverage, placing him second on the team for special teams tackles behind only fellow senior Bryce Ramirez (8) โฆ recorded his first tackle of the season as a linebacker versus Arkansas-Pine Bluff (8/30) and then made key kickoff stops against Kent State (9/6), Houston (10/4), Oklahoma State (10/25) and UCF (11/15) โฆ his five tackles on the year were the most in a season during his career.
2024 SEASON (SENIOR)
- Returned from injury to become one of Texas Techโs top special teams performers โฆ appeared in all 13 games, the most thus far in his Red Raider career โฆ also one of Texas Techโs reserve linebackers.ย
- Finished with three tackles with one versus North Texas (9/14) and two at Oklahoma State (11/23) โฆ both tackles at Oklahoma State came as part of kickoff coverage โฆ added one kick return for 11 yards early in the season at Washington State (9/7).ย
- Credited with 180 snaps on special teams by Pro Football Focus, which ranked fourth on the team โฆ regular member of both the kickoff coverage and return units โฆ also saw time on punt returns and punt coverage throughout the year.
- SENIOR DECISION: elected to return for an extra year of eligibility for the 2020 COVID-shortened season.
2023 SEASON (JUNIOR)
- A promising start to his season was cut short due to injury โฆ limited to only the season opener at Wyoming (9/2) โฆ will be eligible for a medical redshirt waiver later in his collegiate career.
- Finished with a career-high four tackles after coming off the bench to play key snaps at linebacker against Wyoming โฆ recorded his first career sack midway through the second quarter, sharing it with teammate EโMaurion Banks โฆ sack came on a 3rd-and-7 to force a Wyoming punt โฆ had another key third-down tackle later in the quarter to set up another Wyoming punt โฆ member of the kickoff return, kickoff coverage and punt coverage units against the Cowboys as well.
2022 SEASON (REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE)
- Made his Red Raider debut by appearing in seven games โฆ member of the kickoff unit on special teams for each of those seven games.
- Lone special teams tackle came at TCU (11/5) โฆ had one other tackle on the year at linebacker late in the season-opening win over Murray State (9/3). ย
- AWARDS AND HONORS: recognized for his work in the classroom as part of the Academic All-Big 12 first team.
2021 SEASON (SOPHOMORE)
- True redshirt season ... scout team member โฆ did not see any game action.

- Did not see any game action in first year as a Red Raider โฆ was an emergency deep snapper late in the season โฆ scout team member.

- A multi-sport athlete out of Midland Lee in nearby Midland, Texas ... played outside linebacker in high school with occasional time on offense in goal line situations.
- Voted honorable mention All-State for Class 6A in 2019 as well as first team All-District 2-6A ...ย recorded 90 tackles, 18 tackles for loss and three sacks as a senior ... as a junior, tallied 73 tackles, 21 tackles for loss and nine sacks ... showed a knack for turnovers as well with three fumble recoveries and two forced fumbles in 2018.

- Comes from a family of athletes ... father played basketball at Lubbock Christian University, while his mother played at Midland College ... twin sister, Paige, won the Class 6A state titles in discus and shot put.
