- Appeared in four games as either a reserve linebacker or on special teams as a junior.
- Made his collegiate debut in the win over North Texas (9/14), seeing time defensively as well as on kickoff and punt coverage … made one tackle versus the Mean Green, which came on special teams … also saw action in wins over Iowa State (11/2), Oklahoma State (11/23) and West Virginia (11/30).
2023 SEASON (SOPHOMORE)
- Did not see any game action as a sophomore … scout team member.
2022 SEASON (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN)
- Did not see any game action as a redshirt freshman … scout team member … recognized on the Academic All-Big 12 first team for his work in the classroom.
2021 SEASON (FRESHMAN)
- Did not see any game action as a true freshman … scout team member.
HIGH SCHOOL
- Attended Rockwall High School in his hometown of Rockwall, Texas … played for one of the top high school programs in the state … helped lead Rockwall to the Class 6A Division I state semifinals his junior season.Â
- Unanimously awarded District 10-6A Defensive MVP after making 118 tackles, 16.0 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks and an interception as a senior … was also a second team All-Area selection that same year by the Dallas Morning News … tabbed an honorable mention All-State honoree by the Texas Sports Writers Association (TSWA).

- Gage Elder… son of Eric Elder and Dena Elder … has three siblings, Mike Mack, Lawson Ayo, and Grayson Elder … both his dad and brother Lawson were student-athletes in college.
