- Inserted in all 14 games during his final season as a Red Raider, mainly on special teams … scout team member … recognized as the scout team defensive player of the week by the coaching staff following Texas Tech’s win over Kansas (10/11).
- Contributed on special teams as a member of the punt return unit … also saw time on the kickoff coverage and field goal block teams … recorded one tackle, which came in the Capital One Orange Bowl versus Oregon (1/1).
2024 SEASON (JUNIOR)
- Appeared in two games as a junior as a special teams member … inserted on kickoff coverage against both North Texas (9/14) and West Virginia (11/30).
- Scout team member … recognized as the defensive scout team player of the week following Texas Tech’s win over West Virginia.
2023 SEASON (SOPHOMORE)
- Did not see any game action during first season as a Red Raider … was ineligible until the Independence Bowl due to NCAA transfer guidelines at the time … scout team member.
PRIOR TO TEXAS TECH
- Joined the Red Raiders with two years of collegiate experience after previous stops with one-year stints with Abilene Christian and Angelo State … combined to make 14 tackles over 10 games between the two schools.
- 2022 SEASON (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN at ANGELO STATE): played in seven games for Angelo State as a redshirt freshman … had 10 total tackles (9 solo), including two for a loss that resulted in a combined eight total yards loss … added a fumble recovery defensively as well.
- 2021 SEASON (FRESHMAN at ABILENE CHRISTIAN): saw action in two games as a true freshman with the Wildcats … inserted versus Stephen F. Austin (10/30) and Jacksonville State (11/6), recording four tackles between those two games.
HIGH SCHOOL
- Attended Brock High School in his hometown of Brock, Texas … combined to go 37-6 overall varsity starter record as Brock was a state semifinalists his junior and senior seasons … Brock won the district title in 2019 and 2021 as well as regional champions in 2019 and 2020.
- Garnered first team All-State honors (2019, 2020) as well as first team All-Parker County (2019, 2020), District 4-3A Co-Defensive MVP (2020), Big Country Preps Defensive Player of the Year (2020), first team All-Ddistrict (2019), team captain (2019, 2020) during prep career.
- As a track athlete, was a 200-meter district champion his junior season … the track team were state champions his senior year .. was a member of 4x200m relay state champion squad as a senior and member of 4x100m relay that finished in third place team at the state meet that year.
- Recognized as a member of the National Honor Society and honor roll … graduated in the top-10 percent of his class … received first team Academic All-State honors in both football and track.
