2024 SEASON (SOPHOMORE)
2023 SEASON (FRESHMAN)
- Appeared in all 13 games as a regular on special teams and a key reserve in the secondary … displayed the ability to play multiple spots in the secondary as both a safety and corner … began the season as the primary backup at free safety but was listed as the backup to Maurion Horn at cornerback by end of the season.
- Recorded 16 tackles on the season (10 solo), which came over six combined games … posted at least two tackles in each of those six games … combined for seven tackles during Big 12 play with the other nine coming during the non-conference slate or in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl.
- Credited with 223 defensive snaps by Pro Football Focus and an additional 166 on special teams … frequently a member of the kickoff, punt return, punt coverage and field goal block units throughout the season … listed with 75 snaps at free safety by the publication with an additional 78 as a wide corner and 23 as a slot corner … was targeted nine times in the passing game, according to PFF, with six of those resulting in completions.
- Made a career-high four tackles in Texas Tech’s early road trip to Washington State (9/7) … credited with 37 defensive snaps in the loss, his third-highest total of the season … followed with three stops in the rout over the Mean Green to close non-conference play over 25 defensive snaps.
- Combined for seven tackles during big 12 play with three versus Cincinnati (9/28) and two at Arizona (10/5) and against West Virginia (11/30) … played a season-high 59 defensive snaps in the win over the Bearcats, coming off the bench at safety … was in double digits for defensive snaps in all three of those games as well as at TCU (10/26).
- Called on to come off the bench at corner in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl, playing 57 defensive snaps versus Arkansas (12/27) … finished with two tackles to end his sophomore season.

2023 SEASON (FRESHMAN)
- Appeared in 11 games as a true freshman either on special teams or as a reserve in the secondary … part of a talented trio of true freshmen who did not redshirt in the secondary along with Chapman Lewis and Brenden Jordan.
- Recorded nine tackles overall, combining for six of those with three stops at both West Virginia (9/23) and Texas (11/24) … had one tackle in three other games against Oregon (9/9), Tarleton State (9/16) and at BYU (10/21) …
- Credited with playing in 144 defensive snaps by Pro Football Focus … most-significant action came via 17 defensive snaps at BYU, 24 at Texas, 39 versus Tarleton State and then 48 at West Virginia.
- Significant contributor on special teams as well as a member of the kickoff coverage, punt return and field goal block units throughout the season.
- Attended Mansfield Timberview High School in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex … helped push Timberview to a district title and an appearance in the Class 5A Division I regional finals his senior season following an impressive 13-1 record … the Wolves previously advanced to the regional semifinals of the Division II playoffs his junior year.
