HIGH SCHOOL
Attended his hometown Madisonville High School in East Texas … played on both sides of the ball for the Mustangs as a defensive back and an explosive wide receiver … tabbed to join the Red Raiders as a wide receiver at the collegiate level … was the unanimous District 11-4A Offensive MVP his senior season after catching 54 passes for 940 yards and 11 touchdowns … helped push Madisonville to the Class 4A Division II area round … the Mustangs previously advanced to the regional semifinal round his junior season in 2022 … was an All-District 11-4A first-team honoree at three different positions: wide receiver, cornerback and kick returner … credited with 31 tackles that season defensively to go along with 10 pass breakups and four interceptions in the secondary … caught 31 passes for 800 yards and 10 touchdowns, while also returning a pair of kickoffs for touchdowns … made his debut at the varsity level in 2021 as a District 10-4A first-team selection at defensive back … had 21 tackles, seven pass breakups and an interception as a sophomore to go along with six catches for 101 yards … found the end zone three times, twice on kickoff returns and the other as part of his lone interception … dual-sport athlete as a member of the Madisonville track and field program … competed in the 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400 relays as well as high jump during prep career, advancing to the regional meet all three seasons on the team … was the first member of the 2024 class to commit to Texas Tech … consensus three-star prospect by the likes of Rivals, ESPN, 247Sports and On3 … ranked as high as No. 91 among wide receivers nationally by ESPN and No. 93 by On3 … graduated early, Dec. 20, 2023, and joined the Red Raiders in the spring of 2024 … CHOSE TEXAS TECH OVER: Ole Miss, Houston, North Texas, Tulsa, UNLV, Texas State and Sam Houston State.
