2025 SEASON (SENIOR)

Saw action in all 14 games during his final season as a Red Raider … key contributor on special teams as a regular on kickoff returns and an occasional member of the punt return and kickoff units … caught one pass offensively, which went for three yards in the Senior Day win over UCF (11/15).
Scout team member … recognized as the offensive scout team player of the week by the coaching staff following the UCF victory.

2024 SEASON (JUNIOR)

Appeared in five games as a junior either on special teams or as a wide receiver … inserted in four different Big 12 games against Baylor (10/19), Colorado (11/9), Oklahoma State (11/23) and West Virginia (11/30) … made his season debut on kickoff coverage in the non-conference finale against North Texas (9/14) … also saw time on kickoff and punt returns during the season.

2023 SEASON (SOPHOMORE)

Inserted into one game, which came in the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl versus Cal (12/16) … went in for four snaps on offense late in the victory over the Golden Bears.

2022 SEASON (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN)

Appeared in one game during debut season as a Red Raider … caught one pass for seven yards in the season opener versus Murray State (9/3) … scout team member and regular member of the travel squad.

PRIOR TO TEXAS TECH

Transferred to Texas Tech following one season at Oklahoma State ... will have four years of eligibility remaining with the Red Raiders after redshirting the 2021 season with the Cowboys.

HIGH SCHOOL

Attended Midlothian Heritage High School in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex ... helped lead the Jaguars to the playoffs all four seasons, including the Class 4A Division I state quarterfinals as a junior.
Had a breakout season as a senior, totaling 77 receptions for more than 1,000 receiving yards … previously recorded 52 catches for 846 yards and seven touchdowns as a junior ... two-time first team All-District 5-4A selection.
Named 2020-21 Heritage Male Athlete of the Year … recognized for his work in the classroom as a senior as a second team Academic All-State honoree.

Haydon Wiginton ... son of Lee Wiginton and Becky Wiginton ... has one younger sister, Julia.
Comes from a line of college football players … father played football at Angelo State University and is currently the head football coach at Allen High School and the former president of the Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) … grandfather played football at Sam Houston State.
