- Attended Alamo Heights High School in San Antonio, Texas … elected a team captain his senior season … helped push Alamo Heights to the regional semifinal round of the Class 5A Division II playoffs as a senior … previously part of a Mules program that advanced to the same round his junior year as well …
- Three-year varsity letterwinner on the offensive line … Alamo Heights was the champion of District 14-5A each of those two seasons … recognized as an All-District 14-5A first team honoree as both a junior and senior … credited with 150 knockdowns between those two seasons with 80 as a senior and 70 his junior year.
- Honored as a three-time Academic All-District honoree for his work in the classroom … competed for the track and field program in the shot put and discus as well as with the lacrosse team.
- Graduated early and joined the Red Raiders in the spring of 2024 … CHOSE TEXAS TECH OVER: Air Force, Army, Houston, Fordham, Incarnate Word and San Diego.
