PERSONAL
- Instant impact for the Red Raiders in the backfield as only a true freshman … appeared in 12 of 13 games, splitting backup duties behind Tahj Brooks for most of the season with fellow true freshman running back J’Koby Williams … missed only the regular-season finale against West Virginia (11/30) due to injury.
- Received 41 carries on the season for 225 yards and a touchdown … finished tied with Williams for the second-most carries on the team … was only 10 yards back of Williams for total rushing yards after picking up carries in seven different games.
- Added nine catches for 47 yards and another touchdown through the air … bulk of catches came during non-conference play with seven between the Washington State and North Texas games … other two catches came against Baylor (no yards) and in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl versus Arkansas (five yards).
- Credited with 114 offensive snaps by Pro Football Focus, grading out at 75.8 overall … had the fourth-highest offensive grade on the team, trailing only Brooks (83.3), quarterback Behren Morton (79.0) and wide receiver Josh Kelly (77.3) … publication awarded him seven missed tackles forced, resulting in 143 yards after contact.
- Utilized more on special teams after decision was made to not utilize his redshirt … credited with 55 snaps on special teams by PFF with 24 of those coming on kickoff return … had three kick returns for 40 yards on the season, normally as the result of a squib kick … also an occasional member of the punt return and punt coverage units.
- Made his Red Raider debut in the season-opening win over Abilene Christian (8/31) … received one carry for five yards, while also returning one kick for 17 yards.
- Followed with seven carries for 25 yards at Washington State (9/7) to go along with five receptions for 34 yards and a touchdown … found the end zone for the first time in his collegiate career via a 12-yard touchdown grab from Behren Morton with 9:21 remaining in regulation … marked a season high for both receptions and receiving yards … added one kick return for 17 yards in the loss.
- Set a season high with 10 carries for 75 yards and a touchdown in the rout over the Mean Green (9/14) … added two receptions for eight yards to finish with a season-high 83 all-purpose yards … rushing touchdown came on a 1-yard carry with 12:50 remaining in regulation to push Texas Tech’s lead to 66-14 at the time.
- Combined for eight carries for 46 yards over the course of Big 12 play … finished with three carries for 24 yards in the win over Arizona State (9/21), one carry for one yard at Arizona (10/5) and four carries for 21 yards versus Baylor (10/19) … had one kick return for six yards against Colorado (11/9) as well.
- Formed a strong 1-2 punch with J’Koby Williams in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl in replace of regular starter Tahj Brooks … carried 15 times for 74 yards versus Arkansas (12/27), while also catching one pass for five yards … shared team high for carries with Williams as the two combined for 199 of Texas Tech’s 226 rushing yards.

- Attended Crockett High School in Austin, Texas … one of the most prolific athletes in Austin ISD history … played both ways throughout four-year varsity career, while also serving as Crockett’s punter … primarily played quarterback at Crockett but transitioned to running back as a Red Raider.
- Among the top-five leading rushers all-time in Austin ISD history after accumulating more than 7,000 yards of total offense over his career … combined for 2,963 passing yards and 33 touchdowns, while also rushing for 4,065 yards and 61 touchdowns over his four seasons.
- Notched 247 tackles defensively to go with seven interceptions, six fumble recoveries, four forced fumbles and six pass breakups … returned three of those interceptions for touchdowns during his career as well.
- Helped lead Crockett to its first playoff win in 26 years as a senior after rushing for 117 yards and a touchdown, which came with 38 seconds remaining to top Waco University … contributed 13 tackles defensively as well as a blocked field goal and two interceptions, the first of which he returned 70 yards for a touchdown on University’s first play from scrimmage.
- Tabbed the District 12-5A MVP after combining for 3,455 yards of total offense (1,595 passing, 1,860 rushing) and 50 touchdowns his senior season, while adding 90 tackles, three interceptions, two fumble recoveries and three pass breakups on the defensive side of the ball.
- Accounted for 40 offensive touchdowns as a junior (12 passing, 28 rushing), while scoring five defensive touchdowns en route to earning District Offensive MVP accolades … was also a first team All-District honoree as a safety that season … threw for 1,221 yards and 12 touchdowns as a junior, while notching a staggering 1,832 yards and 28 touchdowns on the ground … collected All-District 14-5A first team honors as a utility player his freshman and sophomore seasons.
- Another Texas Tech signee who excelled in track and field, competing in the 100 meters, the long jump as well as the 4x100 and 4x200-meter relays … advanced to the regional meet as a junior in the 100 meters and long jump and both relays.
- Member of the basketball and baseball programs as well, earning first team All-District honors as an outfielder during his sophomore and junior seasons … helped push the basketball program to back-to-back district titles as well.
- Ranked as a four-star prospect by On3 and a three-star recruit by both 247Sports and Rivals … listed as the No. 20 running back in the country by On3 and the No. 42 prospect from the Lone Star State … publication also had him as the No. 268 recruit nationally … ranked among the top-100 prospects in the state of Texas by 247Sports … graduated early to join the Red Raiders in the spring of 2024 … CHOSE TEXAS TECH OVER: Lamar and Texas State.
