- Appeared in all 13 games as a junior on special teams and as a key backup on the offensive line … member of the field goal protection unit on special teams as well as a wedge blocker on Texas Tech’s punt coverage … totaled 125 snaps on special teams between those two units.
- Credited with 76 offensive snaps by Pro Football Focus at various spots up front … focused primarily on the interior with 14 snaps at left guard at Oklahoma State (11/23), 21 at center between North Texas (9/14) and West Virginia (11/30) and 35 at right guard in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl versus Arkansas (12/27) … allowed only one pressure - a hurry - over 33 pass-blocking opportunities per PFF.
- AWARDS AND HONORS: recognized for his work in the classroom for the third time in his career as part of the Academic All-Big 12 first team.

- Appeared in 12 games as part of Texas Tech’s field goal protection unit … missed only the non-conference finale against Tarleton State … scout team member.
