Lady Raider Tennis Set to Host Rice on Sunday

Texas Tech closes out non-conference this weekend
LUBBOCK, Texas – The No. 30 Texas Tech Women's Tennis team is set to host No. 38 Rice on Sunday in the final non-conference match of the season.

First serve is set for noon at the McLeod Tennis Center.

This is the 28th meeting between the Lady Raiders (9-4) and the Owls (7-4). Rice leads the all-time series, 15-12, but the Lady Raiders have won six straight matches. Tech has swept Rice in the last three meetings including last season in Houston.

The Lady Raiders enter the weekend on a two-match win streak after defeating TCU, 4-3, in a non-conference matchup. The Owls enter the weekend after defeating No. 45 Denver, 4-3, in Houston.
