Kiro Picks Up Another Win At Clay Court Invitational

Lynn Kiro went 4-1 at the USTA Collegiate Clay Court Invitational over the weekend.

KISSIMMEE, Fla. - Texas Tech's Lynn Kiro added another victory at the USTA Collegiate Clay Court Invitational on Saturday at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, as she topped Courtney Griffith of UCF, 6-0, 6-1, in a consolation match.
Kiro improved to 4-1 at the event and 7-2 on the season.
It was the lone bright spot for the Lady Raiders, as Samantha Czarniak Rego, Beatriz Machado Santos and Nikki Sanders each lost on Saturday.
Texas Tech will return to action This Friday with half of the squad competing at the Cougar Classic in Houston, while the other half travels to Albuquerque for the New Mexico Fall Invitational.
