Ran in five meets in a strong outdoor campaign which culminated in her scoring at the Big 12 Championships ... opened season with a win in the 5000m at the Wes Kittley Invitational ... PR'd in the 5000m at the Bryan Clay Invitational, running a 16:43.86 for the first place finish ... placed second in the 5000m at the Corky/Crofoot Shootout ... ran in both the 5000m and 10,000m at the Big 12 meet ... was All-Big 12 with a sixth place finish in the 10,000m, where she ran a collegiate-best 35:13.08.
2019 INDOOR
Ran in three meets for Tech ... PR'd in the 3000m in at the Texas Tech Classic, finishing third with a 10:12.03 ... finished second in the mile at the Corky Classic.
SOUTH PLAINS COLLEGE
Holds the South Plains record in the indoor 5000m and 4x800 … was a 2018 NJCAA National Champion in the 5000m with an 18:04.39 … was an All-American for the Texans.
PRIOR TO TECH
Holds the Tascosa school record in the distance medley relay and was a state qualifier in cross country.

Daughter of Najat Angalo and Yasir Dala … has four siblings, Ayman, Amjad, Ameen and Sierra … was born in Khartoum, Sudan … majoring in Human Science.
