Threw in 10 meets... Registered a PR in the hammer throw with a mark of 63.04m (206' 10") at the Tech Open to take first as he went on to win the discus and shot put... Registered a PR throw of 18.88m (61' 11.5") in the shot put at the Corky/Crofoot... His PR in the discus came at the ACU Last Chance Meet with a throw of 59.07m (193' 9")... Big 12 Discus Champion as he took the title with a throw of 57m (187' 0")... Placed 27th in the discus at the NCAA meet.

Threw in seven meets with a run into the NCAA Championships, finishing as an All-American... Tossed a PR mark of 22.43m (73' 7.25") in the weight throw at the Tech Invite...Big 12 Weight Throw Champion with a markย of 21.16m (69' 5.25")... Placed 12th in the weight throw at the NCAA Meet.

Competed in seven meets in his debut as a Red Raider. At the indoor Big 12 championships he became First Team All Big 12 in both the weight throw and the shot put. He posted a personal best of 18.07m in the shot put at the conference meet. Went on to qualify for indoor nationals where he became Indoor All-American for Texas Tech.
