Texas Tech earns USTFCCCA All-Academic honors

The women’s team registered a 3.59 GPA
NEW ORLEANS – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced All-Academic teams and athletes Monday afternoon. The Texas Tech women had 26 honorees recognized as the men's side had nine honorees.
The women's team finished the year with a 3.59 GPA as the men capped off the season with a 3.08 GPA. To be awarded All-Academic Honors as a team the cumulative GPA for all student-athletes on the institution's indoor and/or outdoor track and field NCAA squad list must be a 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
