Enjoyed a breakout season that saw him break 8-meters three times... competed in six meets... placed 2nd at the Big 12 Championships with a mark of 8.03m (26-4.25)... took 2nd at the NCAA West meet going a PB 8.06m (26-5.50)... finished 6th at the NCAA Championships with a mark of 7.89m (25-10.75).
2026 INDOOR
Competed in four meets... leaped a SB 7.79m (25-6.75) to win the Jarvis Scott Invite... placed 9th at the Big 12 Championships.
2025 OUTDOOR
Did not compete.

Long jumped in four meets... placed 3rd at the Big 12 Championships going 7.45m (24-5.50).
2024 OUTDOOR
Competed in three meets... finished his season placing 10th in the long jump at Big 12s.
2024 INDOOR
Competed in three meets his first season as a Red Raider... took 3rd in the long jump at the Big 12 Championships with a mark of 7.66m (25-1.75).
PERSONAL
Zaid Latif... son of Saadia Douchi (mother) and Kamal Latif (father), has one brother Youssef and one sister Basma... plans to major in Sports Management... he is the first member of his family to study in the United States.
