What to Know
The Tech men and women teams will be looking to claim their second-consecutive Big 12 outdoor titles this weekend and complete the season sweep with both indoor titles already secured. Overall, the men's team has won the title in the last two of three seasons and will be looking for its seventh overall trophy. Meanwhile, the women's team won the title for the first time last season.
Staying on the women's side, Temitope Adeshina (high jump) is the only returner that will look to defend her title – she's won two-straight outdoors and is looking for five-straight when you include the indoor season. The men's squad has two returners that claimed an individual title last season – BJ Jennings (high jump) and Desean Boyce (400m). The 4x100 team also secured the title with Johnathan Crawford and Kimarlie Stewart both on there.
