LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech Lady Raiders will kick off the New Year with the Big 12 home opener against Oklahoma State on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Fans can purchase reserved tickets to Sunday's game for $10 online at www.TexasTech.com. General admission tickets can be purchased in person on gameday for as low as $5 at the United Supermarkets Arena Ticket Office starting 90 minutes prior to tipoff.
PROMOTION
The first 1,000 fans into the arena on Sunday will receive a Lady Raider Basketball 2017 calendar.
CLEAR BAG POLICY
Fans are reminded to go clear at all Lady Raider Basketball games. The new clear bag policy provides a safer atmosphere and speeds up the entry process into the United Supermarkets Arena. For more information, CLICK HERE.
PARKING
Texas Tech is encouraging fans to arrive as early as possible to men's and women's basketball games due to the temporary closure to the entrance and exit of the Commuter West Lot at the Texas Tech Parkway and Knoxville Avenue. This entrance and exit will be closed from Dec. 5 to Jan. 13 for construction. Fans are asked to use the entrances and exits off Indiana Avenue when arriving from the north along with the entrances and exits at Indiana Avenue and 18th Street when arriving from 19th Street or the Marsha Sharp Freeway.

- Today's game marks the 59th meeting between the Lady Raiders and the Cowgirls. Texas Tech holds a 32-26 all-time record over Oklahoma State and a 15-10 record in Lubbock. The Lady Raiders also lead Oklahoma State in Big 12 meetings, 25-15.
- Prior to being named Lady Raider Basketball head coach in 2013, Candi Whitaker was an associate head coach for the Cowgirls during the 2012-13 season. Whitaker also played for Coach Jim Littell at Seward County CC from 1998-2000.

- Texas Tech opened Big 12 play on Thursday at No. 16 Texas. The Lady Raiders fell 67-47. Sophomore Recee' Caldwell scored 24 points for her fifth 20-point game of the season.
- Oklahoma State opened Big 12 play at home and defeated Iowa State, 71-59, on Thursday. Center Kaylee Jensen led the team with 28 points and 11 rebounds.
