Women's Tennis in Waco and Albuquerque

LUBBOCK, TX - The Texas Tech women's tennis squad completed opening day singles and doubles matches in Waco and Albuquerque with 18 match victories.
At the University of New Mexico Invitational in Albuquerque, five players combined to win ten matches. The doubles pairs of Caroline Starck/Nikki Sanders and Elizabeth Ullathorne/Haley Fournier each won their opening doubles matches. Starck, Ullathorne, and Fournier each won two singles matches. Sanders and Lindsey Tristan each won a singles match.
In Waco, at the Baylor Invitational, four players claimed eight wins. Doubles duos Kelsy Garland/Samantha Adams and Sandra Dynka/Lorena Aviles claimed a win each on Friday. In singles play, Caroline Starck and Samantha Adams each won two singles matches. Sandra Dynka and Kelsy Garland each won a singles match on the first day of play.
These two matches complete the fall campaign for the women's tennis squad. Non-conference play begins on January 29 with the team taking on Wichita State in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
