2019 Big 12 All-Freshman Team
FRESHMAN (2018-19)
In her rookie season with the Lady Raiders, Bridgforth posted a 12-11 overall record, 10-10 in dual match play... Played primarily at the three, four and five positions… Went 5-3 in Big 12 play… posted a 5-5 record at the no. 3 position… picked up the wins at Georgia Tech and against West Virginia to clinch the match for the Lady Raiders… Played doubles with Lana Rush and Reagan Collins throughout the season… ended the season with a 14-11 overall doubles record, 12-11 in dual match play… earned three ranked wins at the beginning of the season with Lana Rush including a 6-4 victory over the doubles pair from NC State… Won three straight doubles matches to close out the season with teammate Reagan Collins… was named to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team. FALL: went 5-4 in singles play, 6-2 in doubles play during the Fall competition… Went 4-1 with doubles teammate Lana Rush during the fall.
HIGH SCHOOL/JUNIORS
Bridgforth is a 5-star recruit out of Bradenton, Fla., and is a Top 10 recruit in the state for Florida... She sits in the Top 65 nationally and reached as high as 54th in the country among recruits... In July, Bridgforth advanced to the final match the USTA National L2 Tournament.
