JUNIOR (2017-18)
Posted a 14-9 singles record and 12-7 in dual matches for the Lady Raiders... Went 4-1 in Big 12 play... Filled the No. 2 (0-3), No. 3 (2-3), No. 4 (5-2) and No. 5 (5-0) positions for the dual matches... defeated her highest ranked opponent of the season with a two-set win (7-6(2), 6-4) over #94 Ayan Brookfield of UCLA, clinching the match for the Lady Raiders over No. 13 UCLA in the first round of the ITA Indoor National tournament... Was ranked No. 120 in the ITA preseason poll... played No. 3 doubles for the Lady Raiders with Katelyn Jackson and Lana Rush... Posted a 19-10 record in doubles matches, 6-3 against Big 12 opponents... Clinched six doubles points for the Lady Raiders this season... won the first doubles point with teammate Lana Rush in the Sweet 16 match against Texas as they defeated the Turati twins, 6-3... was named Academic All-Big 12 First Team for the second straight season. FALL: Compiled a 1-4 record in the fall season... Her lone win came over Virginia's Lizzie Baker (6-1, 6-1) during the Big 5 Challenge in Fort Worth... posted a 2-0 record in doubles at the Big 5 Challenge with teammate Lana Rush.
SOPHOMORE (2016-17)
Compiled a 14-11 singles record and 12-10 mark in dual matches... Filled the No. 3 (6-7) and No. 4 (6-3) positions in the singles lineup... Defeated her highest ranked opponent of the season with a three-set win (7-5, 0-6, 6-3) over #42 Aliona Bolsova of Oklahoma State, clinching the match for the Lady Raiders and keeping Tech undefeated in Big 12 play... Played to an 18-11 overall doubles mark... Played 20 matches at the No. 2 doubles position... Teamed up with freshman Alba Cortina-Pou for a 15-6 overall record, 15-5 in dual matches, 6-1 in Big 12 play... Clinched the doubles point for the Lady Raiders in nine matches with Cortina-Pou including the quarterfinals match of the Big 12 tournament against K-State and against No. 3 Pepperdine at the ITA Indoor National Championships. FALL: started off slow in the fall season where she went 1-6 in singles and 4-4 in doubles play... The win came against Baylor's Elizabeth Profit during the ITA Texas Regional Championship Round of 64... She and teammate Gabriela Talaba posted a 3-2 record at the ITA Texas Regional, losing to teammates Sarah Dvorak and Sabrina Federici in the Quarterfinal round.
FRESHMAN (2015-16)
An All-Big 12 Second Team and All-Big 12 Freshman Team honoree who compiled a 23-9 overall record, a 15-7 mark in dual matches and won three of her four Big 12 matchups … Filled the No. 3 (10-5), No. 4 (4-2) and No. 5 (1-0) positions in the singles lineup … Totaled five regular season match-clinching points, sparked by a quartet over NCAA Tournament teams in then No. 13 Alabama (Feb. 7), No. 33 Washington (Feb. 22), No. 36 Northwestern (March 25) and No. 35 TCU (May 1) … Played to a 24-14 overall doubles record, a 15-10 mark in dual matches and 4-5 ledger in Big 12 play… Played all 25 dual matches in the No. 1 or No. 2 positions in doubles … Teamed with Gabriela Talaba for an 11-6 record and for a 7-5 mark with Lynn Kiro … Won four of her first five singles dual matches before she ended a two-match losing streak with an eight-match winning run … Did not lose a match from Feb. 22 to April 14 … Secured 11 of her 15 dual match victories in straight sets … Captured wins in two of three Big 12 Tournament matches and during her first NCAA Tournament appearance against Boston University ... Came back from a 1-6 setback in the first set to Danielle Wagland of Texas to claim a 1-6, 6-2 7-6 (5) victory that provided evened the match at 3-3 … Dropped first four doubles matches before claiming first victory, a 6-4 triumph with Sarah Dvorak, against Danielle Spielmann and Joanna Nena Savva of No. 13 Alabama … Added four straight wins with Dvorak before she paired with Talaba and reached as high as No. 64 in the Oracle/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) poll … Claimed five of six matches with Talaba from March 13 through April 7 … Teamed with Talaba to close out Tech’s 4-3 win over Texas with an upset win over then No. 15 Breunna Addison and Danielle Wagland at the Big 12 Tournament … went 2-0 with Talaba in NCAA Tournament action with victories over Boston and Mississippi State … FALL: Enjoyed a very successful fall where she dialed up a 6-1 singles record and an 8-1 doubles mark with a trip to the USTA/ITA Indoor Championships with partner Lynn Kiro ... Kiro and Valenstein became the first doubles team in program history to win the ITA Regional event ... Rolled through the singles field at the Oklahoma Invitational and captured the Sooner Singles Draw with four consecutive victories ... Downed Kansas' Nini Khmelnitckaia, 6-2, 6-3, in the draw's championship match ... In only other singles action of the fall, reached the ITA Texas Regional Round of 16 main draw with two wins ... Fell to No. 48 Breaunna Addison of Texas, 6-4, 6-1, to end fall singles action ... With Kiro in doubles, went 3-1 at the Oklahoma Invitational before the pair won all five matches of the ITA Texas Regionals ... Upset the No. 14 pair of Ines Deheza and Stefania Hristov of Texas A&M en route to the championship ... In the title match, upended Texas A&M's Rutuja Bhosale and Anna Mamalat, 6-4 ... Suffered setbacks in both USTA/ITA National Indoor Championship matches.

Owned an ITF ranking of No. 1244 with a career-high ranking of 1,073 achieved June 29, 2015 ... Coached by Cary Crouch (high school) and Sean Abdali (private coach) ... At the USTA National Championships in August 2015, advanced to the Round of 32 before she fell to top-ranked Francesca Dilorenzo ... In October 2015, captured a Round of 32 match at the ITF $10,000 Hilton Head Island Tournament to move to the Round of 16 ... Earned a WTA rankings point for the performance ... In June 2015, played in the ITF $10,000 Victoria, British Columbia and was again victorious in a Round of 32 contest to move to the Round of 16 ... Also reached the main draw Round of 16 at the $10,000 Heraklion, Greece in March 2015 ... Advanced to the 2014 Easter Bowl Championship main draw with a pair of victories in the qualifying draw ... Won two matches at the 2013 South Carolina ITF and 2014 Atlanta ITF to advance to the Round of 16 main draw both times ...
