2016 OUTDOOR
Competed in primarily the 800m and on the 4x400-meter relay during his first outdoor season ... opened at the TCU Invitational in the 800m with a time of 1:57.32 ... also posted a second-place finish in the 4x400 relay at the meet at 3:19.72 ... returned the next week at the Texas Tech Open and put down a PR of 1:55.03 in the 800m ... would notch another personal-best in the event at the Michael Johnson Invitational at 1:54.34 ... represented Texas Tech in the 800m at the Big 12 Championships, placing 20th in the prelis at 1:56.67 ... named to the 2016 All-Big 12 Rookie Team.
2016 INDOOR
Ran in only two meets during the indoor season, both in the 800 meters and both in Albuquerque ... hit a time of 1:58.90 at the New Mexico Team Invite on Jan. 30 ... followed it up with a personal-best in his return at the New Mexico Classic at 1:57.51.
PERSONAL
Graduated from Houston Clear Lake High School in Houston ... came to Texas Tech with personal-bests of 50.87 in the 400 meters & 1:58.52 in the 800 meters.
