2024-25 UPDATE (Freshman season - Entering the Sweet 16):
Horner played nearly eight minutes against Arizona in the Big 12 semifinal and produced one rebound, one block and one steal in his first action since playing at Utah. He scored his first career points in the win over Oral Roberts and has now made nine appearances this season. He is a true freshman who joined the Texas Tech program after playing at Dynamic Prep and Frisco Memorial. As a senior at Dynamic Prep, Horner averaged 14.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. He was a McDonald's All-American nominee and helped the program to the Texas Christian Athletic League 6A State Championship. He earned T-CAL All-State Second Team honors. At Frisco Memorial, Horner was a three-time all-district selection who had 889 points, 419 rebounds and 121 assists in three seasons.

- Signed his Athletic Scholarship Agreement to play for the Red Raiders on May 9, 2024
- McDonald's All-American nominee who played at Dynamic Prep last year after previously attending Frisco Memorial
- At Dynamic Prep, Horner averaged 14.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game
- Helped lead the team to the Texas Christian Athletic League (T-CAL) 6A State Championship and was named T-CAL All-State Second Team
- Was a 2024 McDonald's All-American Nominee and earned Chick-Fil-A Classic MVP after leading his team to the tournament title
- Coached by Jermaine O'Neal and starred on the team that was ESPN Top-15 nationally
- Three-time all-district selection while playing at Frisco Memorial, contributing 889 points, 419 rebounds and 121 assists in three seasons
- In the 2022-23 season, he earned UIL District 10-5A First Team and Offensive Player of the Year honors and helped lead the team to a regional quarterfinal championship
- Was a TABC 5A All-Region selection after averaging 16.8 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.2 assists
- As a sophomore, he helped Frisco Memorial win the district championship and was named a District 9-5A Second Team selection under head coach Quinton Gibson
