2024-25 UPDATE (Junior season - Entering the Sweet 16):
Francis has appeared in 11 games this season and 16 in his career. He recorded his first field goal in his career with a layup against ORU for his first points of the season. He is a walk-on who played in five games last season for the Red Raiders. He scored his first career points with a pair of free throws against Sam Houston in a non-conference win and had two rebounds against Kansas and Oklahoma State in Big 12 play. An Austin, Texas native, Francis was a practice player for the program during the 2022-23 season before earning a spot on the roster. He was a 1,000-point scorer at Anderson High School.
2023-24 (Sophomore):
PRIOR TO TECH: Scored over 1,000 points in high school career… Earned 2022 District 17-5A MVP after averaging 15 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals as a senior… As a junior, averaged 14 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals… Earned 2022 Texas 5A Region 3 All-Region and Second Team All-Centex… Was named the 2021 All-Centex Defensive POY • Named 2021,2022 First Team All-District 17-5A along with 2021,2022 Academic All-District 17-5A… As a sophomore was a 2020 Second Team All-District 25-6A and 2020 Academic All-District 25-6A selection.

- Appeared in five games in his first season playing for Texas Tech
- Made his collegiate debut against Omaha on December 6, 2023 and scored his first points against Sam Houston on December 28, 2023 when he made two free throws
- Played in two Big 12 games, first against No. 6 Kansas where he had two rebounds in a 79-50 home win and then at Oklahoma State
- Had two rebounds in two minutes at Oklahoma State
