2024-25 (Freshman):
- Anderson finished his freshman season averaging 10.6 points, 3.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game
- Scored career-high 22 points in Sweet 16 win over Arkansas after making three 3-pointers and going 5-of-5 at the free-throw line
- Produced four games of 20-plus scoring in freshman season
- Matched Chance McMillian for the team-best with 71 made 3-pointers, going 71-for-187 from 3-point range
- Earned All-Big 12 Freshman Team honors
- Finished the season scoring in double figures in 18 games, including 13 in Big 12 games
- Led Tech with 46 made 3-pointers in Big 12 play, matching Davide Moretti (2018-19) for the fourth most in Big 12 games in a season for the program
- Was 46-for-109 on 3-point attempts during league play to lead Tech in makes, attempts and percentage (42.2%)
- Played in 35 games and started seven, including the final five
- Had a career-best six assists in a win at Kansas - adding 15 points on 5-of-10 from 3-point range at Allen Fieldhouse
- Career-high eight rebounds against Houston, also scored 10 points in the game
- Produced six games with three or more steals, had a career-best four steals at TCU
- Scored 21 points in wins over Arizona State and West Virginia along with scoring 19 points in the Big 12 Championship semifinal against Arizona
- Completed his first season at Tech with 372 points, 105 rebounds, 77 assists and 41 steals
International Experience with Germany
- Earned All-Star Five honors at the FIBA U19 World Cup playing for Germany
- Recorded 18 points, nine assists, four steals and five rebounds in the finals against the USA
- Averaged 17.3 points, 6.6 assists and 4.9 rebounds throughout seven games of competition in Switzerland
- Tournament highlights came with a 29-point performance against Canada and having 12 assists against Serbia in the Round of 16 matchup
- Germany finished the tournament with a 6-1 record to claim the silver medal – the country's first podium appearance in the U19 World Cup
- Anderson was named to the all-tournament team after finishing the event second in assists and 10th overall in scoring
- Has also competed for Germany in the 2024 FIBA U18 EuroBasket, 2023 FIBA European Championship, 2022 FIBA U16 European Championship
- Averaged 20.3 points during 2024 FIBA U18 EuroBasket – led Germany to championship title and earned All-Star Five
- International experience playing for Germany includes averaging 14 points, 2.1 assists, and 2.4 steals per game in the FIBA U18 European Championship
- Previously, he played for the Germany youth team and was named the MVP of the FIBA U16 European Championship after leading the team to the Division B title
Prior to Texas Tech:
- Signed an Athletic Scholarship Agreement on May 21, 2024
- Played at Oak Hill Academy last year where he averaged 19.1 points and 4.6 assists per game and was a McDonald's all-American nominee
- Ranked as a four-star recruit by 247Sports and a three-star by ESPN and Rivals after a strong prep career
- Played at The Lovett School in Georgia before finishing at Oak Hill
- In his final season of high school, Anderson shot 45.2 percent on 3-pointers
- Originally signed by Michigan, he also competed in the Nike EYBL circuit and played internationally with Germany's national team
- At The Lovett School in Atlanta, Anderson averaged 23.7 points per game and finished with 2,038 points.
- As a junior, Anderson averaged 26.1 points and 4.1 assists per game that included three games with 40 or more points
- His sophomore season saw him set the Georgia High School record with 861 points (averaging 29.7 ppg.), including a career-high 51 points
- Anderson was the No. 101 overall ranked recruit in the 2024 class according to 247Sports and was the highest ranked player who was still unsigned
- He also had experience playing in the summer for Team Melo and Team CP3
- Led Team CP3 with 16.0 points per game and during the 2022 summer
