Returned as Texas Tech’s starting deep snapper as a sophomore … appeared in eight games overall, missing only the final two contests of the year at Oklahoma State and against Kansas … did not have any failed snap attempts on the year ... AWARDS AND HONORS: tabbed an All-Big 12 third team selection at deen spapper by Phil Steele Magazine.
2019 SEASON (FRESHMAN)
Earned the starting nod as Texas Tech’s deep snapper as only a true freshman … appeared in all 12 games with no failed snap attempts on the season … one of three freshmen starting specialists for the Red Raiders, joining place kicker Trey Wolff and punter Austin McNamara … trio formed one of the best specialist groups in the country.
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended The Woodlands High School in The Woodlands, Texas … served as the primary long snapper for the special teams unit for the Highlanders … earned first team All-District 15-6A honors as a senior ... recognized on the Academic All-District team as well ... also a member of the school’s rugby team that won two state championships.
