• Won his second straight road start and start overall when he pitched 5.2 innings of two run ball at UTSA (May 11)

2023 Season:
• Took the ball 16 total times, making 14 starts
• Went 4-4 with a 5.05 ERA
• Led the team in innings pitched (76.2) and finished with five quality starts
• Finished third on the staff in strikeouts (65) and went at least seven innings three times
• Made the Friday night start in the final two weekends of the season
• Made the start and allowed just one run and five hits in 3.2 innings pitched in his season debut against No. 7 Florida (Feb. 21)
• Fired seven one-run innings in a 6-2 win at Long Beach State (Mar. 12)
• Did not allow an earned run and struck out a season-best eight in six innings against Army (Mar. 19)
• Fanned seven in seven one-run innings against Tulane (Apr. 8)
• Pitched into the eighth for only time all season at Houston, allowing just one run (Apr. 16); The performance earned him a spot on the AAC Weekly Honor Roll
• Went seven one-run innings and struck out seven in a start at Memphis (May 6)
• Recorded his second-straight seven-inning start at Wichita State (May 12).
2022 Season:
• Made 21 total appearances, the second-most on the team as a true freshman
• Also made a pair of starts
• Struck out 35 batters in 39.1 innings pitching to a 2-3 record and a 7.09 ERA
• Made his collegiate debut against Charlotte (Feb. 20)
• Threw 2.2 strong innings allowing just one run and striking out four against Stony Brook (Feb. 27)
• Fired four shutout innings in an 11-8 win over Boston College (Mar. 9)
• Did not allow an earned run against North Florida (Apr. 5) in 2.1 innings pitched
• Struck out four of the five batters he retired in a 1.2-inning stint against UCF (May 6)
• Allowed just one run in two innings at No. 25 ECU (May 14)
• Did not allow a run in two of his final three appearances against Stetson (May 17) and Tulane (May 25).
High School:
Coached by Greg Olson at Calvary Christian in Clearwater…also attended Tampa Prep as a freshman…named team captain, team MVP and a FACA All-Star as a senior…threw a perfect game as a senior in 2021…was the winning pitcher in Calvary’s 2019 state championship game victory…three-time academic honor roll… participated in summer ball with FTB, Hit Factory, and NEB
Personal:
Raised in Tampa, Florida…son of Dale and Sherrie Cebert…father was a pitcher and an outfielder at Central Oklahoma (1985-88) …has one sister, Shelby .. had a dog named Millie…majoring in University Studies.
