The Red Raiders and Sooners will instead play at Kimrey Family Stadium due to projected bad weather in Lubbock
LUBBOCK, Texas – Due to projected inclement weather in Lubbock scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday afternoon, Texas Tech and Oklahoma have mutually agreed to move the weekends "Fall Ball" contests from Lubbock to Norman.
Originally slated for a 1 p.m. and Noon contest on Saturday and Sunday at Dan Law Field at Rip Griffin Park, Tech and OU will instead clash in Norman. First pitch on Saturday and Sunday are set for the previously scheduled times of 1 p.m. and Noon respectively.
The clash between the two schools will mark the first of four contests this season between the former Big 12 foes, as Tech and OU will meet on Mar. 2 at Riders Field in Frisco, before the Red
Raiders return to Norman for a Monday night midweek at Kimrey Family Stadium on May 3.
Admission for both contests is free. No live stats or stream will be provided for either the Saturday or Sunday contest at OU.
This weekend's scrimmages at OU will be the second and third of four Fall Ball games. The Red Raiders fall finale is set for Oct. 29 against McLennan College at 3 p.m.
