• Spent his first season of JUCO ball at NMMI
• Appeared in 51 games and took 150 at-bats, hitting .347 with 13 doubles and four triples
• Also pitched 12.0 innings and made nine appearances on the bump
• Made his pitching debut tossing 1.1 innings and striking out two against New Mexico Junior College (Jan. 28)
• Did not allow a run in two scoreless innings against Weatherford College (Mar. 2)
• Fanned two and allowed just one hit in 1.1 innings pitched against NMJC (Mar. 9)
• Tossed a scoreless inning in an 8-4 win against Claredon College (Apr. 6)
