Closed out her final season with a 22-9 overall record and went 17-7 in dual matches… played the entire season at the no. 1 position… Was named an ITA All-American after becoming just the second player in school history to advance to the round of 16 at the NCAA Singles Championship… became the first player in school history to make the NCAA quarterfinals… Posted an 8-1 record in Big 12 play and was named the Big 12 Individual Champion at the No. 1 singles position... Was also named Big 12 Player of the Year for her outstanding season… She was also a unanimous selection for All-Big 12 First Team singles… following the regular season, she was named the ITA Texas Region Senior of the Year and Most Improved Senior… defeated nine nationally ranked opponents including No. 17 Bianca Turati (Texas), marking her highest ranked win of the season… 18 of her 22 wins came in straight sets… with 17 wins at the No. 1 position this season, she ranks second in school history for most wins at the no. 1 position… Her career win percentage of .757 ranks fifth in school history… won three straight matches over Top 25 opponents during conference play, pushing her to a No. 18 ranking in the Oracle/ITA Rankings (her highest of the season)… Closed the season with a 16-9 overall record and went 15-8 in dual matches in doubles play… Played No. 1 and No. 2 doubles during dual match play… Posted a 10-3 record at the no. 2 position… played the majority of the season with Nell Miller, recording a 12-8 record with the freshman… defeated two ranked opponents including No. 53 Smornova/Niezgoda (Rice) for their highest ranked win of the season… Clinched five doubles points with Miller during the season... JUNIOR (2017-18)
Finished the spring season 14-12 overall, 13-8 in dual matches and posted a 2-3 record in Big 12 play... primarily played at the No. 2 position where she posted a 9-7 record... also played at No. 3 where she went 4-1... was named to the All-Big 12 First Team in doubles with teammate Gabriela Talaba... Reached as high as No. 23 (Nov. 15) in the Oracle/ITA Rankings and finished at No. 58... picked up her highest ranked win of the season as she defeated No. 61 Maria Kononova (UNT) in straight sets during the Round of 64 of the NCAA Singles Championships... Clinched three match points for the Lady Raiders including the 4-0 sweep over Army West Point in the opening round of the NCAA Championships... Qualified for the second straight NCAA Singles Championship... earned her first win when she defeated UNT's Maria Kononova... Ended her season in the Round of 32 against No. 8 Fernanda Contreras (Vanderbilt)... Posted a team-leading 22-4 record in doubles play with teammate Gabriela Talaba... The 21-3 record at the No. 2 doubles position marked the most single-season wins in program history... the pair reached as high as No. 21 in the Preseason Oracle/ITA Rankings (Sept. 12) and ended the season at No. 67... the duo clinched 10 doubles points for the Lady Raiders including the doubles point against No. 6 Texas in the Sweet 16... the two earned their highest ranked win of the season with a 7-5 victory over No. 6 Kelly Chen and Samantha Harris of Duke during the Elite 8... they also clinched the doubles point in the match against No. 3 Duke. FALL: Posted a 4-1 record during Fall play... defeated Gabriela Knutson (Syracuse) in the Round of 16 during the Riviera/ITA All-American Championships to qualify for the main draw... defeated UNC's Sara Daavettila in straight sets during the main draw Round of 32 before falling to Aliona Bolsova (FAU) in the Round of 16... went 1-1 in doubles play with teammate Gabriela Talaba.
SOPHOMORE (2016-17)
Finished the spring season with an 18-11 overall record, 15-9 mark in dual matches and went 4-2 against Big 12 opponents... Was ranked as high as No. 32 (Feb. 21) in the Oracle/ITA Rankings and finished at No. 47... Was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team in singles and All-Big 12 First Team in doubles with teammate Gabriela Talaba... also earned a spot on the Academic All-Big 12 Second Team and became the second Lady Raider in school history to be named the ITA Texas Region Player to Watch... Picked up her highest ranked win of the season as she defeated No. 8 Sydney Campbell of Vanderbilt (6-2, 2-6, 6-1) to help the Lady Raiders advance to the Round of 16 of the ITA Indoor Nationals... Played all matches at the No. 2 position for the Lady Raiders... Maltby helped the Lady Raiders to the program's first Big 12 Tournament title with her match-clinching win over Oklahoma State's Katarina Adamovic in a three-set comeback win (2-6, 6-3, 6-3)... Qualified for the NCAA Singles Championship and advanced to the Round of 32 before falling to No. 44 Anna Danilina of Florida... Posted a team-leading 21-7 overall doubles record with teammate Gabriela Talaba... The two went 19-6 in dual matches and a perfect 4-0 in Big 12 play... The two ranked as high at No. 33 (Feb. 21) in the Oracle/ITA Doubles Rankings and finished the season at No. 59... The duo earned their highest ranked win of the season with a 7-5 victory over No. 17 Josie Kuhlman and Belinda Woolcock of Florida during the Elite 8 round of the ITA Indoor Nationals. FALL: Finished the fall season with a 4-2 record in singles and doubles play... Opened with a 2-1 record at the Georgia Bulldog Classic... Advanced to the Round of 16 at the Riviera/ITA All-American Championship where she faced Oklahoma State's Viktoriya Lushkova... Went 2-1 in doubles play with teammate Talaba at the Kitty Harrison Invitational.
FRESHMAN (2015-16)
Led the Lady Raiders with 33 victories while helping the program to its second straight NCAA Tournament Round of 16 appearance … Finished the year 33-6 overall, 21-4 in dual matches and 6-2 in Big 12 play … Named to the All-Big 12 Second Team and All-Big 12 Freshman Team … Reeled off 20 of her 21 dual match wins in straight sets … Lone three-set victory was third career dual match where she downed Anneka Watts of No. 30 Fresno State, 3-6, 6-3, 6-2 … All four of her dual match singles losses were to teams that were ranked among the ITA’s Top 70 … Played primarily in the No. 3 singles position (11-4) … Combined to go a perfect 10-0 from the No. 5 (4-0) and No. 6 (6-0) slots … Secured five match-clinching points … Also paced the squad in doubles victories going 27-12 overall with an 18-8 ledger in dual matches and a 5-3 mark against league foes … Teamed most often in doubles with Sabrina Federici where she posted a 16-6 overall record and an 11-5 mark in dual matches … Played to a 7-2 doubles mark with Lynn Kiro where the pair won six matches from the No. 3 slot … Won first 11 dual matches in singles, not losing until March 19 versus Olaya Garrido-Rivas of No. 67 TCU … Went 2-0 in Big 12 Tournament action where she downed foes from No. 24 Texas and No. 35 TCU … In doubles, started 7-2 with Federici in the No. 3 slot … Switched partners to Kiro in mid-to-late March and went 6-2 with no foe capturing more than three victories in any of the six wins … Settled into the No. 2 spot at the end of the year with Federici and won four of six matches during the stretch … Captured four straight wins versus Big 12 foes with Federici at the end of the year … Earned Big 12 Tournament victories with Federici against No. 24 Texas and No. 35 TCU … FALL: Impressive in fall debut with the Lady Raiders where she racked up a 9-2 singles record and a 7-3 double mark ... In first career tournament, went 4-1 and advanced to the championship of the Midland Invitational before falling to Rice's Lindsey Hodge in straight sets ... Played in the ITA Texas Regionals main draw and won opening match, 6-0, 7-6, against Lamar's Anna Spengler before being handed a 0-6, 6-3, 1-0 (9) defeat by Rice's Solomiya Zinko ... Bounced back in the Texas Tech Tournament with victories in all four matches ... Played for the Midland Invitational doubles title with Federici and captured three consecutive matches before falling to UTA's Astrid Gehre and Angeles de los Rios ... Paired with Katelyn Jackson at the ITA Texas Regionals and won two matches to move into the Round of 16 before falling to the No. 14 pair of Ines Deheza and Stefania Hristov of Texas A&M ... Finished the doubles portion of the fall with a 2-1 mark with Sarah Dvorak and Kiro at the Texas Tech Tournament.
