In the Know
The NCAA Outdoor Championships are in Eugene for a third-straight season. The men and women will compete on alternate days as the men will go on Wednesday and Friday, while the women compete on Thursday and Saturday.
Temitope Adeshina will look to defend in indoor national title in the high jump as Jonathan Seremes will look to do the same in the triple jump. Adeshina has not lost a high jump competition since last at this very same meet where she placed fifth. Meanwhile, Seremes did not compete outdoors last season, only indoors – back-to-back national champions in the triple jump.
Overall, this is one of the largest groups the women's team has taken to nationals. They have 15 opportunities to score, boasting two or more Red Raiders in four events – 100m hurdles, 400m hurdles, high jump and triple jump. The men have 12 opportunities to score, with individual entries in eight running and four field events.
