Terry, Canady, Williams and Lis named NFCA All-Americans
OKLAHOMA CITY – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced its All-Americans for the 2026 season on Wednesday. The list featured a program record four Red Raiders including Kaitlyn Terry, NiJaree Canady, Mia Williams and Jackie Lis.
Terry and Lis are first time NFCA All-Americans, Terry named to the first team while Lis was named to the third team. Canady and Williams were named to the second team. Canady has now been a consensus All-American her last three seasons and Williams the last two.
Terry is enjoying her best collegiate season this year, leading the team in ERA and batting average coming into the Women's College World Series. Lis is also having the best season of her already stellar career setting new career highs in home runs (20), RBI (71), hits (69), doubles (11), triples (3), total bases (146), batting average (.439), slugging percentage (.930), on-base percentage (.547) and walks (40).
Williams is also enjoying a carer season, posting a season-high in home runs (24), RBI (82) and runs (86) – all program records – among many others. Canady continues the challenge of being a dominant force in the circle for four consecutive seasons as she is one of four active players to have an ERA under 2.00 in four consecutive seasons and is the active career leader in ERA (1.05) and is the only active player with 1,100 strikeouts and 100 wins for a career.
Five different Red Raiders have been named All-Americans across the three different softball media outlets as Mihyia Davis was named a Second Team All-American by D1Softball and Softball America earlier in the week.
UP NEXT: Tech will face Mississippi State in the first round of the WCWS tomorrow at 11 a.m. in Oklahoma City.
