Came into the season on the D1Softball D100 Freshman Watch List and was named the Big Ten Freshman to Watch by Softball America. Was a highly touted prospect coming out of high school, was a top 30 prospect and an All-American by MaxPreps and Line Drive Media.
"Zoie Bernard is an athlete that I had not heard much of until the past few weeks but was quickly impressed by her film," said Gerry Glasco. "Her film and highlights were amazing. Her skill set is unique in that she has great speed with the ability to swing away. Reminds a lot of Mihyia Davis when watching film. I look forward to seeing her develop over the coming years."
