LUBBOCK, Texas – The No. 33-ranked Texas Tech Lady Raiders have just two more home matches this season as they host the No. 20 TCU Horned Frogs on Thursday at 1 p.m., and the No. 34 Baylor Bears on Saturday at 12 p.m. at the McLeod Tennis Center.
Texas Tech (14-9, 5-6 Big 12) is led in dual singles by Hailey Murphy, who holds an 11-5 record, with nine of those coming at court one. Just behind her are both Mariia Hlahola and Havana Kadi with eight wins apiece as Hlahola totals six victories at court three and Kadi tallies four at courts five and six.
In dual doubles, the No. 77-ranked pair of Murphy and Yekaterina Dmitrichenko hold an impressive 19-3 record at court one to lead the way. In addition, with one more win at line one, Dmitrichenko would hold the program record for doubles wins at that position with 21. Murphy would be tied for second in the record book in that category.
