PREVIEW: Women’s Tennis to host ITA Kickoff Weekend

Lady Raiders home opener to include UC Santa Barbara, South Carolina, Arizona State
LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech Women's Tennis team opens the home slate as they host the ITA Kickoff Weekend this Saturday and Sunday at the McLeod Tennis Center.
No. 13 Texas Tech welcome UC Santa Barbara, No. 16 South Carolina and No. 21 Arizona State for the two-day dual match tournament.
The Lady Raiders will face UC Santa Barbara on Saturday at 3 p.m. while the Gamecocks and Sun Devils meet. The winners of each dual match will meet on Sunday at 3 p.m. for a chance to advance to the ITA Indoor National Championships in New Haven, Conn.
Tech earned their first trip to the national tournament last season after defeating Oregon and Illinois in Lubbock.
