Gabriela Talaba and Felicity Maltby stay undefeated in doubles action
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Texas Tech Women's Tennis duo of Gabriela Talaba and Felicity Maltby stayed undefeated in the opening day of the Kitty Harrison Invitational Friday afternoon.
Talaba and Maltby started the day with an 8-4 win over Virginia's Hunter Bleser and Rosie Johanson. The two went on to defeat Minnesota's Caitlyn Merzbacher and Mehvish Safdar, 8-3.
Lynn Kiro and Katelyn Jackson defeated Camille Favero and Meghan Kelley from Virginia (8-3) for a Texas Tech sweep.
The Lady Raiders continue play tomorrow morning as they take on host team North Carolina in doubles and Davidson in singles play.
