PACIFIC PALISADES, Calif. – Sophomore Alex Valenstein was eliminated from the 2016 Riviera/ITA All-American Championships main draw in the round of 32 on Thursday.

Valenstein fell to Erin Routliffe of Alabama in two sets (6-3, 6-0). She was moved to the Main Draw backdraw to compete in the round of 16.

On Friday, Valenstein will face Alizee Michaud of Auburn on Friday at 2:30 p.m. (CT).
