Three Advance to ITA Regional Semifinals

Gabriela Talaba and doubles duo Sarah Dvorak and Sabrina Federici will play in the semifinals tomorrow beginning at 10 a.m.
WACO, Texas – Junior Gabriela Talaba and doubles pair Sarah Dvorak and Sabrina Federici have advanced for the semifinals of the ITA Texas Regionals in Waco.

Talaba continues her undefeated streak with wins over Texas's Dani Wagland (6-1, 6-4) in the Round of 16 and Marie Norris of TCU (6-2, 6-1) in the quarterfinals. She will face the Longhorns' Neda Koprcina in the semifinals tomorrow at 1:30 p.m.

Dvorak and Federici had to face teammates Talaba and Alex Valenstein in the quarterfinals of the doubles main draw. Dvorak and Federici won, 8-0, to advance to the semifinals. They will face a duo from Texas A&M tomorrow at 10 a.m.

Freshman Reagan Collins picked up another win in the singles consolation draw Round of 16. She defeated Lamar's Hanna Elfving in three sets (6-4, 3-6, 10-4) to advance to the quarterfinals. However, Collins fell in straight sets to Sofiko Kadzhaya of TCU.
