MANHATTAN, Kan. -- As Texas Tech found itself down by two with less than 20 seconds to play, senior guard Amber Battle found herself in the exact same spot just two weeks ago.
Battle just missed a 3-pointer to tie the game at the end of regulation against Kansas State on Jan. 31 in Lubbock.
Sunday, she wasn't going to miss.
Battle drained her jumper with with 16 seconds left to force overtime and Rayven Brooks led three Lady Raiders in double figures with a career-high 26 points to help Tech escape with a 74-68 win in overtime at Bramlage Coliseum.
It was the first win in Manhattan since 2010 and first time to win back-to-back Big 12 Conference games this season.
Tech (15-10, 5-8 Big 12) led for 39 minutes in regulation until Kansas State (15-9, 5-8) took its first lead with one minute to play on a Haley Texada layup. The Wildcats extended their lead to 62-60 when Kindred Wesemann split her free throws before Battle hit her jumper to send the game to overtime.
Dayo Olabode help Tech shoot out of the gate in the extra frame with a layup and two free throws before Brooks nailed her fourth 3-pointer of the game to give Tech a 9-0 run in overtime and put the game away for good.
Olabode finished with 16 points and eight rebounds off the bench while Battle added 14 and eight herself.
This was Tech's second overtime and win of the season. The Lady Raiders beat Texas State at home, 81-77 on Nov. 18.
