Opening Statement
"Obviously disappointed when you don't win a game but extremely proud of how hard our group play. Definitely trying to do what we wanted to do as far as our game plan. I thought they really followed that well and fought hard. Tried to win the game and wanted to win the game. Obviously wish we had an opportunity at the end. Getting that last rebound to see if we could tie it and send us into over time."
On why they were so successful in their inside game
"Well they're really good. I mean that's they're game; that's what they do. They get the most points off of transition, they pound inside, they have several bigs, they're very deep and they attack the paint with the bounce. I mean they don't shoot a lot of threes, they don't take a lot of threes and they don't have to. They just continue to pound and try to run in transition and get to the rim."
On finding the teams offensive identity the past three games
"Better. I think we're sharing the ball well, we're having more people step up and hit shots, and understanding just concepts in general. I think we're really growing in our basketball IQ."
Ivonne CookTaylor
Sophomore Guard
On going inside and kicking it out
"Really I was patient and I read the defense. I would say for me patience was a key to my game."
Amber Battle
Senior Guard
On how the game played out
"I mean Baylor has one of the best post players in the nation, Nina Davis. For us we just had to attack and get our post players open. They just had to post up hard and we just had to make shots."
