She matched that total with 21 points in a win over Jackson State, going 6-of-9 from the field and 4-of-5 from beyond the arc.
At Rutgers in the 2024-25 season, Petticord played in all 33 games with six starts, averaging 6.7 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game. In the WNIT, she scored a season-high 18 points with a career-high six 3-pointers in a win over College of Charleston, then grabbed a season-high five rebounds against Buffalo in the quarterfinals.
Her sophomore season, Petticord averaged 10.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 31.5 minutes per game, ranking third on the team in scoring. Before beginning her collegiate career, Petticord was tabbed as a four-star recruit and the No. 81 prospect in the 2022 class. Petticord played her prep career at Arbor Prep, where she averaged 22.9 points per game as a senior while shooting 50 percent from the field and 80 percent from the free-throw line. Her performance led her team to the 2022 Division III State Title and earned Petticord the title of the Michigan Associated Press Division III Player of the Year. She finished her high-school career as Arbor Prep's all-time leading scorer with 1,709 points, was the 2020 Ann Arbor News Player of the Year and was a four-time Detroit Free Press All-State First Team selection.
The Lady Raiders officially kick off their season on Nov. 5, taking on Charlotte at the United Supermarkets Arena.
