TEXAS TECH TEAM NOTES The loss dropped Texas Tech to 14-5 at Rocky Johnson Field this year and 88-37 all-time under Shanon Hays.
The loss marked just the third time this year where the Red Raiders lost when leading after four innings. Texas Tech is now 21-3 in those games this year.
Texas Tech's six runs marked its most in a loss since falling 8-6 to New Mexico State on Feb. 16.
The Red Raiders dropped to 26-6 this year when scoring three or more runs with the loss.
Texas Tech dropped to 16-2 this season when scoring six or more runs in a game.
Texas Tech is now 4-5 this year in two-run games and 23-22 all-time under Shanon Hays.
Texas Tech dropped to 17-3 this season when hitting at least one home run in a game.
Texas Tech struck out 13 times in the loss, its most in a game this season, topping the previous mark of 12 that was set against Baylor on March 28.
The Red Raiders scored in the opening inning for the 21st time this season. Texas Tech is now 16-5 in those games this season.
Texas Tech dropped to 21-4 this year when scoring before its opponent.
Texas Tech's 12 runs so far in the series mark its most in a conference series this year.
The Red Raiders stole their 74th base of the year (by Sydnie Tapia), leaving Texas Tech seven shy of the single-season school record from 2001.
Shanon Hays
Hays dropped to 180-92 all-time at Texas Tech with the loss and 294-108 in his six-plus seasons as a collegiate head coach.
Hays dropped to 6-6 all-time against Oklahoma State.
Sydni Emanuel
Emanuel finished with at least two hits for the second-straight day by going 2-for-4 for her team-leading 17th multiple-hit game this season.
Emanuel also finished with three RBI for her seventh multiple-RBI game this season and her second so far in the series. Her seven multiple-RBI performances are tied with Kierra Miles and Kristi Belshe for the team high.
Cassie McClure
McClure finished 2-for-4 at the plate for her 11th multiple hit game this season. The freshman added two RBI as well for her fourth multiple-RBI performance this year.
McClure connected on her fifth home run of the season in the third inning. It was the second home run for a Red Raider during Big 12 play this year.
Samantha Camello
Camello finished 2-for-3 for her seventh multiple-hit game this season. She is hitting .500 in the series after going 3-for-6 overall.
