
Texas Tech Softball Travels to Houston for Fall Tournament

LUBBOCK, Texas - The Texas Tech softball team will be traveling this weekend to Houston to participate in the 2004 College Classic tournament with 21 other teams. The tournament will be played on six fields and will start on Fri., Oct. 15 and end Sun., Oct. 17. This will be the last fall tournament for the Lady Raiders this season.
The Texas Tech Fall Tournament was Oct. 2-3 and the Lady Raiders came out victorious winning five games and ending one game in a tie. Senior Lisa Lawler and sophomores Brandy Moulin and Heather Parker each accounted for one homerun over the weekend. The Lady Raiders defeated their opponents 31-10 over the two-day tournament.
The Lady Raiders will begin their spring season traveling to San Marcos, Texas, for the Texas State Tournament Feb. 4-6.
